Impact Worldwide - Impact Worldwide Talent Showcase - Impact 210 ripoff Fraudulent salaried job offer from my posted online resume for the purposes of gaining personal information Internet
After posting my resume on careerbuilder.com, I received an email response from Impact Worldwide stating that based upon my information they were considering me for the position of "Director of Casting". This email from "Liz Morgan" stated that the job would pay:
First year base salary of $78,000 - Incentive plan that can add 40% - 60% or more to base salary - Medical, Dental, and Vision plan - Expense Account - Paid Vacation - Tuition Reimbursement - Rapid Fast Track advancement program
Of course, after submitting additional information I received another email from Impact's Casting Director, Will Davis. Mr. Davis informed me that they had decided to accept me for the positon (no verbal interview) - all I had to do was sign up at their website.
At the website I learned that there is no base salary, no health benefits, no paid vacation etc. Rather one has to "qualify" for these items by sending in qualifed bookings in a sort of Ponzi scheme. In-other-words, they lied.
Check out all the negative info on Impact at
Under no circumstances should you give these people your personal information such as social security numbers etc. This is a big ripoff!
