The company called me on my cell phone and told me that they'd received my information from a credit card application. That was my first tip off since I know that I didn't apply for a credit card.

The asked me to verify some information and told me that the card had already been approved and that I could even pay the membership fee after I received the card. I was then transferred to another individual who rambled through script at light speed and then proceeded to hang up the phone at [it's] completion.

He must have thought because he spoke fast and very poorly that I wouldn't catch on to what he said. While he was reading, I noticed he mentioned that this card with the 2500 dollar limit was not guaranteed and that the banks decision had nothing to do with them; completely contradictory to what the original person, who call herself Lisa, had told me. Because I work for my banking institution, I immediately changed all account information.

Attempts to call have been unsuccessful. I want them to know that they were busted and that I would not be a victim. I control my life and my destiny. I'm not a fool. I will not be taken advantage of. Why would they prey on someone who has bad credit, when they obviously don't have the money. Why would they rip off someone who obviously has very little.
