Hi fellow scam noticers
I recieved a letter in the mail for a free cruise for two, i dont know how this company recieved my home address and normally i throw stuff like this away, but this seemed extremely ligit (sp?) someone had even handwritten side notes on it and highlited certain parts of the fine print. I was in a ideal frame of mind and called the 800 number.

Lucy answered and was a very nice older women who talked forever about what a great deal it was. i asked if i could send the cruise to my mother as a gift and she told me that she would send my mom the package of brochures and dvd and all the cool info on the things included in the cruise, and the whole thing was supposed to be some big advertisement special (believable). anyhow Lucy said "okay do you have a credit card i can put this 798 on and we can get this sent out to your mom!!" i was thinking that she meant $7.98 for shipping and handling to send the package (very stupid I know). needless to say she meant $798.00 dollars. now i dont know if i just misunderstood her, but it seemed a little sketchy the way she said 798, kinda makes me think it was said in the way to fool me...... i figured out the real price when she put me through to jamal, to confirm everything on the recorded line, when i jumped out of my seat and grew several gray hairs at the age of 21!!, they put me on the phone with something something manager, this guy had a ny accent and was named frank, his voice reeked of car salesman... i mean real bad!!! and he said he was confused. when I said i couldnt afford it, he said i obviously could afford it because my card had already gone through, i said no i couldnt afford it because I had a lot of "god d**n" bills (getting angry now) and he said sarcastically... you have 798 dollars worth of bills. and began to make me feel guilty and pressure again and again. he offered to take 300 dollars off the price and have me put only 99 dollars down, and when i said no to that, he really got upset. bottom line, hope everyone out there sees these posts before they call...... one of you said that your husband had you google the cruise before calling, thats a smart man!!! i guess i learned my lesson
