I received a call last Jan 09 indicating we had won a free cruise. I know nothing's free but I called to see what they were selling. I purchased a "extended vacation" this included an upgraded cabin on the ship & told that we would get 5 days & 4 nights in Ft. Lauderdale on the beach, which we could stay at before our cruise, with the stipulation we had to sit through a 90 minute presentation. Ok, been there done that can do it again. However, everything started going down hill when we actually tried to book it - First, told yes you can stay on the beach for an extra $75 pp per night, 2nd - if you want a ocean view cabin on the ship it's an extra $100 pp per night (more for to lower beds) then when we booked wouldn't give me a confirmation number stated that it would be sent to me in 72hours.

You guessed it nothing, called back after receiving a message - a courtesy call. When I called they informed me the ship had changed ports & wouldn't be selling the dates we had confirmed. I explained we already had nonrefundable airline tickets & time of for the dates we booked. After, several attempts they offered to split the hotel & cruise days up so we could adhere to our scheduled flights. I requested a confirmation # as well as an updated itinerary again refused stated this could not be provided to call back in 7 business days. Once again they can change it to whatever they want - If I had know this I would have asked for my money back over a year ago. Now we either go & take a chance or loose over $600 plus airfare.
