Long story short, I financed a truck through Van Chevrolet (another report regarding them lol), and came to find out that after paying on time for 5 months at 610$ a month PLUS 270$ in insurance equals out to pretty much nothing for me to live off of until the next payday, where the cycle starts over again. I made the initial wrong choice for getting the truck. Ill raise my hand in that respect. So I try selling the vehicle, or finding someone else to re-finance in their name. I receive an email from this company called Imperial Motor Transferals by a woman named Cassandra Solley. She explained to me via email and phone how their company works and how I would be effected. It sounded way to good to be true. -From the Email -

My name is Cassandra and I'm the co-founder of the company Imperial Motor Transferals. We understand things happen to good people and you may not
be able to handle paying off your car. This is where we come in and may be help to you. We handle the process of finding a client to take over payments
on your vehicle for the duration of your loan. We have a guaranteed contract that assures you, as the owner that all payments will be made on time without
delay. In fact our contract actually states the client is to make the payment 10 days prior to it's actual due date or the vehicle will be repossessed by Imperial
Motor Transferals without delay or notification. We at Imperial Motor Transferals conduct business in a very simple and professional manner.
We are here to help you find the most reasonable solution to your problem. If our program sounds like something that would interest you, please give us a
call at xxx-xxx-xxxx. You may call 24 hours a day, We're here to help. Once the vehicle is turned over to us and in contract you are 100% relieved of the
payment obligation. Call us before you let your vehicle go back to the bank, go 30 days late, or worst case continue to suffer with that vehicle that you
don't want.
Of course through all the stress I was hoping it wasnt. So I contacted her and setup a time to meet with her. I finally got in touch, and read through her contract which explained in detail all the things I wanted to know. I read, in short, that the vehicle will be 100% out of my worries, after 6 months in which the new driver will transfer the vehicle into their name, otherwise Imperial Motor's will just pay off the vehicle with their money, and lease it out to another driver and take payments in from them etc etc. I talked it over with my parents (my mother had co-signed on the truck originally with me). They were very skeptical and cautious as they should be. I was worried as well, letting a vehicle go that was in my moms name, as well as mine. But I had the contract signed by me and Imperial with the agreement on their part to pay off the truck and remove all worries away.

Low and behold, 5 months go by, and the truck was paid on time or close to. I frequently called them, to check in. They had found a new driver/owner, who would assume payments of 610$ a month, with a 2500$ deposit/downpayment. Which did seem a little steep for a downpayment to me. The next 8 months is when things seemed to go a little south and then crumble from there. Payments were late, way late, several months late in fact. Emails and texts were sent back and forth between me and the Imperial company. I also found out the new owner was avoiding calls at times, and paying in small increments, and also he used the vehicle to go out of state several times without notice. In the contract it states that the owner shall not leave the state without permission from me as the registered owner. What really got to me was that it was well over the contracted 6 months in which either the new driver would refinance into his name, or Imperial Motor Transferals would pay off the loan all together as they have stated. I was given lie's and delays from Imperial Motor's. I wanted answers, and they gave me excuses and more lies. Everytime I brought up the contract they seemed to change the subject or delay me with some other story. I also found out they had gone to Indiana for some work related situation. I would confront them about the new driver and they would say that its against privacy to know anything about either person involved. At this point I was getting very worried, and upset. My parents kept telling me to get the truck back, but it seemed that Imperial Motor's was preventing me from doing such. My parents told me they were just lying and ripping me off. But I kept hoping and praying that I would never be taken advantage of like that. It seemed that Cassandra and Ty with Imperial Motor's would never do such a thing. And so I kept hoping things would change. After months of late payments and harrassing calls from the bank to my cell, my moms cell, and my work I started realizing I was wrong. These were con-artists.

The last couple of months have been frustrating. Even more so then when I had the truck originally in my possession. I would have toughed it out and just made things work somehow. Cassandra told me that the new driver could not continue payments, so they finally re-poed back into their possession. The plates were removed, and the truck beat up with added mileage. I was destroyed. Then Cassandra said they received another 'work related' opportunity in Indiana, and would not be able to keep the truck where it was 'hiding' at, since the bank wanted to repo it from me (being as it was well over 90 days late, with small payments made here and there from Imperial Motor's since the new driver couldnt keep up). So I went and got the truck. I was completely devestated when I saw it. There was small damage to the bumper. Bumps and scrapes here in there. The rear drivers side door latch was busted, trash everywhere (including the ceiling of the truck). The new driver had swapped the bench seat up front for some nasty smelling captains chairs out of another truck, and broke the middle arm rest in the process. The speakers all seemed to have soda or some other mess spilled into them, the after market stereo was busted, the after market subs, box, and amp were supposedly 'stolen', the HID kit I installed was 'removed' but never given back. The check engine light was on, and the oil indication light was on. The truck was a sad mess.

So it comes down to Cassandra and Ty 'leaving to Indiana' in hopes of getting better jobs that will pay more, so they can help their other contracts and myself' since they 'lost all their money' they had before the economy tanked, which to me is another excuse. I felt robbed, lied to, emberrased and in shock at how much trouble this has all gone to. The bank has now told me they want to sue me for not giving the truck back, even after Ive told them all that has happened. My moms near perfect credit score has dropped down in the pits, and Im sure is effecting my fathers credit as well. So now it feels like everyone is against me in every which way. I feel like I've ruined people for the dumb choices I've made. I have kept every paper, email and text in hopes of suing these liars. They tried to assure me that they will keep in contact, but its been over a week and no contact has been made. I dont know what else to do. The truck is still hiding, in its beat up shape, and the bank has stopped calling me all together, and left me a voicemail saying they will now pursue, suing me for the loss of the vehicle. Sigh... what to do?
