Complaint Review: Imperial Platinum Inc.

I received a letter that stated that I was a winner of a Shoppers Sweepstakes along with a check for $4890.00. Since I normally keep all records of entering any game that I play, I called a lawyer for advice. "Don't do it!" was the response.

I called the bank that the check was from and wanted to know if it was an open and ligit account; they were only able to tell me that it was a valid account but the company name did not match and that they would not be able to honor the check I had in hand. Darn!! I could have used the money.
