Impervious iphone waterproof spray review

I am reporting Impervious iphone waterproof spray & person Justin Seimits who is making unsupported claims and unfairly conning people that they have a wonder product of some type.

I purchased the product of kickstarter impervious iphone waterproof spray and the product does offers very little water resistance or none at all to thier claims.

The company is called impervious ( http://www.invisiblewaterproofing.com ) they claim they have a spray for iphone that can make it waterproof which from the comments on kickstarter and youtube.

They claim the following

1.They have a patient pending, but when I asked for the patent pending serial they refused to tell me.

2. I asked if the liquid had certification from the FDA to be safe to use for retail and they told me they do, but refused to give me any informations about it.

3. They claim the products to be certificated IPX waterproofing standards but again refused to give any test certificate information about these claims. These claims are contradictory to what they are saying. For example they claim one of the products is IPX 7 which means it can withstand 1m of submersion for 30 mins then in their FAQ's page it states it's a "preventative only" which would obviously not be IPX 7 rating as you cannot use it in 1 meter of water for 30 mins, it's a total fabricated lie.

4. They claim the device is water resistant & scratch resistant for 3 years, when I asked for any supporting evidence they refused to give me any information supporting their claims also nomours complaints on peoples phones getting damaged & scratched have already been exposed.

5. There are no address details or phone number on the website or return address for the products when shipped.

6. They are using marketing on the website to make people believe these are some type of Impervious iphone waterproof spray review, when in fact they are nothing more than establish companies writing about the release of the product on kickstarter. There are no true reviews of this product that I can't find from any reportable source apart from 2 videos on youtube who have claimed the product does not work and their phones are broken.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRDd0qeGez8

7. There was no warning that the product would void your warranty on the kickstarter project, but once they received the funds and had some complaints about this they decided to tell everyone that it would void it.

8. They state the flashpoint is 20 deg c (68 fahrenheit) with means this product cannot legaly by air within the US or outside under Hazard Class 3 USPS and all the other delivery services. I'm sure if they would provide the real data it's probably worse than they have claimed.

9. The diagrams drawn on the kickstarter project are total garbage, they mean nothing at all in terms of nanotechnolagy chemistry which again is misleading people in to thinking they have created a wonder product, which it's obviously not and is an off the shelf product of some kind.

10. The con is that they hope you never put your device near water this way it hides the fact that the product is a con, as people who have dared to do it lost there phones in the above videos.

If you read the Impervious iphone waterproof spray reviews on Kickstarter you can clearly see the fact that the product does not work. This stops people who baught the product from using it them testing it, hence no real reviews apart from those who have had it damaged and the above videos.

They are consantly trying to build credibillity offering the product as a compairiable to Liquipel which is there way of trying to trick customer in to thinking it offers the same sort of protection, which is completly untrue claim and I doubt they could ever proove uless it's another rigged video promo's.

Be warned stay well away from Impervious and the skinny little weesel Justin Seimits or lose your money & phone.

Thank you for contacting us,

Please note that Ripoff Report merely provides a forum for speech.  Posts on the site are created by third parties, not by Ripoff Report, and under United States law, Ripoff Report is not required to “fact-check” the millions of comments posted on the site by users.  Indeed, doing so would simply be impossible.  Further, under United States law, Ripoff Report is not liable for the accuracy of third party speech.  Instead, the author(s) of such comments are solely responsible for their words.

For these reasons, Ripoff Report does not remove material upon request simply because one party claims that something in a report is untrue.  Removing material in that situation would require Ripoff Report to decide which party is telling the truth and which one is lying.  Ripoff Report is unable to make judgment calls such as this.  Instead, both sides are allowed to explain their view of the facts and anyone reading the page can make his or her own decision about who to believe.

Please understand that we do not take reports down.  It has been Ripoff Report's uniform policy for over 16 years to not remove postings.
