I downloaded and purchased software from imusicshare.com that claimed to be legal. After downloading the software I found out that it is not as advertised. I then researched the product and to my surprise there are many others who have been victimized by this fraudulent site. I have repeatedly contacted the company but they are continuously failing to comply with their so called guaranteed refund. I've been taken advantage of and would not like to see this happen to anyone else.

Imusicshare.com Ripoff Update

#3Author of original report

Thu, July 28, 2005

Thanks for your suggestion! I have indeed recieved my refund from imusicshare.com but it was no simple task. Luckily I paid imusicshare through paypal. I contacted my bank while the transaction was still pending to see if I could stop payment on it before they got it. But the bank was saying it would be a 30 dollar cancellation charge and no guarantee that it could be stopped. I didn't want to loose any more money so I decided to handle it another way. So I then decided to file a Buyer complaint case through Paypal. While doing so I also followed Ripoffreport.com suggestions on handling getting a redund. I sent an email directly to imusicshare.com that informed them that I had indeed filed a public complaint to Ripoffreport.com that will be seen to the public. I also informed them that I had the ability to update this report if they practiced good buisness tactics. (I'm including the actual email below I hope it can help someone else as it did me) But Thanks to Paypal and Ripoffreport.com I now have my money back!

(This is the actual email that I sent to imusicshare.com I also included a copy of my Report filed at ripoffreport.com and the username and password that was given to me by imusicshare.)

I have filed a formal report regarding Imusicshare.com with the company Rip-OffReport.com. Included in this email is the actual report, please feel free to review it and keep for your records. I do have the ability to UPDATE my Report and reflect your companies good business practices if Imusicshare.com possesses the eagerness to satisfy my complaint and make things right. This complaint is viewable to the public and may be seen by the world. I also bring to your attention that failure to respond/rectify the situation will also be seen. If my refund and complaint has been handled accordingly I will be more than happy to update my report to reflect your company in good business. Thank You for your time!

(I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE ELSE!!!)

Getting your money back

#3Consumer Suggestion

Mon, July 25, 2005

I know this was suggested in another report, as that is how I came to do it and it works: Call the bank of the card you charged this to and report them as fraudulent, which they are, and your bank or credit card company will probably help you or just credit your account as mine did. Be sure to also change that card number or they may try to bill it again when the bank doesn't pay up on your account. In the mean time send them several e-mails a day. I finally got a response after sending three e-mails per day for about 1 week. It still took them 3 weeks to clear up my account and that was going through my bank. These people are bad news, no doubt about it!
