i thought i was paying a 1.00 membership fee as advertised. i was shocked that 3 days later i went to online banking and found 2 charges for the same amount of 18.88 from this bogus, lying, mis-representing and fraudulent company.i never even had a chance to download anything nor did i go back to their site after i allowed the 1.00 charge. i was going to wait and see what my wife wanted to download. i saw the charges on my accout dated 8/11/06. the charges were still in intraday process and had not yet been posted to my account. i tried everyway i could to get ahold of the perpetrators and could not. please read my add on once i file this, it may help you.

please do not go into your bank as the editor suggests, demanding. you won't need to yell in front of customers or even threaten. i'm sure the editor was speaking of extreme cases.

i immediately went to my bank and spoke with the Manager of the branch. i had in hand, printout of the website of Imusicshare.com, a
printout of the terms and conditions from the same, a printout of search results when you search for their site, (you will notice, line 4 is from ripoffreport.. This was a yahoo search.
i printed out the information from ripoffreport.com, all that i could get about this fraudulent company, and went in with a positive attitude. armed with the printouts was a plus and i was admired for doing my homework. this way, the powers that be will not have to do it.

in short, i was offered a form to dispute even though it had not officially been taken out yet. i was told that once they (whoever( is sent the actual payment, they can track where exactly its going and act accordingly. i was also told that it happens alot, not with this paticular company but several others. the suggestion being, be real careful with the sites that you give your credit info to.

even if it says that its a secured site, it does'nt mean squat. if you don't know 'em, check 'em out first. google them.
