*******PLEASE READ THIS REPORT FOR IN DEPTH THERAPY in BROOMFIELD, CO******
If you are a parent who live in the Boulder County area or more spcifically Broomfield, Co, Please read this terrifying stoy from my interaction with Indepth Therapy (aka Love and Logic).
My husband and I enrolled in the "Parenting Class" that was given by this company in Broomfield named: Indepth Theray. We thought we could learn soome great new skills to help raising our daughter and ADHD disorder. Once we can to our first session I met a women named Barbara Humble who introduced herself as the Director of the company. After a few min of speaking with Ms. Humble I realized that she continuallly brought the conversation back to, "the purchase of several books that you can read on your own". At first, her "sales pitch" wasnt bad but as the (very unorganized and unprofessional meeting) went on, MRS. Humble continuously refered back to the purchasing of these "book and DVDs". After about the tenth reference to purchasing the (teaching items) she realized that severaal of us in the room were not only NOT BUYING HER CRAP but they were giggling at her desperation as well.
After the class ended (which was just a video (that we needed to buy). My wife and I filed out the door into the parking lot. Mrs Humble approach my wife and stated that she "Needs to purchase a book before the next class"....my wife refused and Mrs. Humble became very volitile. Yelling profanities and told us "low lifes" to go back to our trailors. We ignored her the best we could until my wife noticed her clutching and grabbing her son CARSON'S arm and dragging him to the car. We were dumbfounded (wasnt she just teaching a Parenting Class??? huh). Once she slung her kid toward her car she then began yelling right in his face....screaming the F-word, calling him a little sh_t.. and even said, "that's why you dont get to see your father!".
My wife and I watched this Barbara Humble of Indepth Therapy completey mistreat her son in front of us (not sure if she knew we were watching). It was so scarey to soo someone that violent and have such on obvious anger control issue taking care of a child and trying TO TEACH OTHERS TO DO SO. We went to the police to report this incident and was shockingly told that she has been investigated for this type of abuse many times before. Her license my be revoked already and she may NOT ALLOWED around children (hopefully her son is safe).
Please read about our experience with Indepth Therapy and please keep your children far away from Barbara Humble. I am suprised she even is allowed to see her own child after how violent she acted toward him. Hopefully someone will get this women some help.
