Complaint Review: In Town Suites

In town suites is apparently designed to rip off their customers. My daughter lived there for a month. I jumped through all of their ridiculous hoops to pay the rent on time (despite the inconvenient hours they set up) and actually took off work to move her out by the noon deadline. She gave 24 hours notice she was leaving and was told by the clerk she could leave the key in the room when she left and the deposit would be mailed to me. I picked her up on move out day and we cleaned the room (it was cleaner that when she moved in) and left. I never received the deposit and now the manager is telling me the clerk said we didn't leave the property by noon-an outright lie. He regional manager-Bill Mark- says he can't change anything since the records are in the computer and this is "company policy" which he can't possible deviate from. He says he has to "follow the system". Aren't mangers supposed to use good judgment and resolve disputes? He says he has no power to do so.
Other problems:
Every week the key wouldn't work and she was locked out of her room.
The people next door fought constantly and made lots of noise.
If she left her window open, the staff would enter the room, unannounced and close it.
The phone system was repeatedly out of order.
The carpet was filthy.
The bed linens were dirty so we bought our own.
There were unsavory characters lurking around the property.

This company is designed to rip off the consumer. They tack on fees for everything and I am sure they never intended to refund my deposit.
