Incentiverewardcenter ripoff - some participant companies have no knowledge of this company Delray Beach Florida
I, like others on this site, noticed some very alarming activity. First of all, I applied for the following:
Citi Driver's Edge card
Discover Card
Audible.com
GM Card
USA Today (this one disappeared from the site)
Video Professor
The marketing people at GM told me they had no relationship with incentiverewardcenter and said they would pass this on to their legal department.
I had a similar response from Discover Card, Citi Bank and USA Today. The only company that insisted incentiverewardcenter was not a scam was Audible.com, but they cancelled my membership without any argument.
Also, the spam mail that started my interest in this stated "Test & Keep an Apple Ipod 40GB - Product Testers Wanted". This is deceptive in itself, since the promotion has nothing to do with testing an iPod.
I just finished cancelling all of the offers I signed up for and let each of the above companies know of my concerns.
My suggestion: Save up your money and buy
your own iPod and don't give these guys a chance to keep giving people the run-around.
