Complaint Review: Indemnity Financial

On 6-26, I received a letter from this company stating that my name had been drawn in the North America Prize Pool. My total winnings weer $250,000.00. A check was enclosed for $3,165.15 to cover administrative payment and clearance fees for my winnings. It states that I was supposed to contact a Cynthia Woods between 9:30 and 5:30 pm and lists a 1-888 number. The letter is date for June 7th and the check is dated 6-12; however, the letter states that you have to contact Ms. Woods by June 6th and I just received the letter today. Also, there is no answer at the number in question; an answering machine voice picks up and says hello and good-bye. I was very disappointed as I am in very bad financial situation and when I realized this was probably a hoax I was very disappointed.
