I received a call from the independent survey.com organization this evening asking me to participate in a political 3-question survey.  I was then told because of my participation, I am eligible for a 2-day Bahama cruise with grandcarribeancl.com. I just needed to provide the caller with my credit card number to cover the cost of $118.00 port tax (for two people).  The caller became agitated when I refused to give him my credit card number and insisted that our credit card wouldn't be jeopardized by giving him the information.

My wife checked the grandcarribeancl.com Website and noticed that there was no phone number on the Website or even an e-mail address to request further information, which seemed unusual.  I am a 5-time cruiser and I can always check online for whatever I need and call an agent to obtain information needed to make a decision.

I believe that this is a scam to say the least, not to mention that I am on the do-not-call list for solicitors. Please do not allow yourself to get ripped-off by this scam. Review the cruiseline Websites or reputable travel agencies before booking any travel.
