INDIE POWER is a FRAUD & Not what they purport to be. Indie Power preaches about standing up for indie artists when in reality they are only out to SCAM them out of thousands of dollars. The owner of Indie Power JAY WARSINSKE preys on those dreaming to be a success in the music business. Indie Power basically offers third part services that anyone can get on the Internet. Jay orders his flyers through Sergio, the local printer, then triples the prices to the artists.
I witnessed Jay trick The Soles Of Passion band into paying over $2,000 dollars for one of the so-called double platinum packages as he laughed and said they wont get crap out our of Indie Power. JAY Warsinske offers the MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN option to musicians until they realize they are being SCAMMED.
Jay even offers bands the option to do his PAY TO PLAY gig at his fake SXSW showcase to SCAM them even more. JAY WARSINSKE acts like he has all these famous stars endorsing his company when he really just gets his interns to conduct interviews for him and puts the talent on the spot to give Indie Power and IES a fake recommendation. All the profits from this scam goes to Jay Warsinske as he doesn’t pay his employees / interns that work long hours for him.
Michelle Fryer and Eric Downs did all the work in the office and NEVER GOT PAID along with the rest of the peons as he called us.
When we worked for Jay Warsinske he had us spy on and write dozens of FAKE RIPOFF REPORT post on other companies because he said they were a threat to his EMPIRE. This is the real story about Indie Power and Jay Warsinske!
Mr. WAR SIN SKE says if they aren’t on my team they are my enemy and I will destroy them. Even when he promised THE REAL FREEWAY RICK ROSS a distribution deal and lots of money he screwed him too. Indie Power has yet to return a refund to the thousands of his victims he SCAMMED.
JAY Warsinske can NOT be trusted and is the reason why so many people don’t want to be in the music business. The Indie Power FRAUD by Jay Warsinkey goes on to fund his new Indie Entertainment Summit (IES) SCAM. Jay is now trying to take his IES SCAM international to INDIA, EUROPE and ASIA.
JAY acts like he owes the Indie Entertainment Summit / IES when the real owners are Scott Page and Kevin Helon who Jay Warsinske also SCAMMED out of tens of thousands of dollars. Jay Warsinske has been notorious for forcing his employees to open bank accounts for him and buy him cars because he has many judgments against him. Jay ruined our credit and ruined our lives. The 'anonymous coward' (Richard W. Nelson) who wrote this psychotic rambling about a real accomplished veteran of over 45 years of positive & exemplary work is despicable & from someone with real mental problems. As a close associate of Jay's I witnessed him on suggestion of Cameron Penny, to offer Nelson a place to live, as he was homeless & trying to find work. Jay not only gave him a place to live in exchange for light help, but got Nelson into numerous vocational programs, Seminars, Training Classes, Workshops, Trade Shows to try to help him develop tangible skills. He also provided Nelson with transportation to endless doctors & hospitals, where he had serious health & mental issues. Everytime Jay came back to the place Nelson stayed at, he caught Nelson talking histerically to himself & acting like a mentally deranged person, or secretively trying to undermine the people that were the only ones trying to help him. Rather than boot him out or had him admitted to a mental institution, he gave him endless chances to redeem himself & prove himself hirable to do real industry work or get hired somewhere. that's the kind, giving and considerate person Jay is.
So rather than the earned accolades & praises for trying to help Nelson, after he left, one day out of the blue, with no reason, facts or provocation he posts this psychotic, misspelled & hateful rant of ALL lies. If Jay was such a 'bad guy' in a super competitive & cutthroat entertainment promotion world, why does he have hundreds of clients that love, admire & praise him for such a high level of competency, vision & undying passion for one of the toughest businesses on the planet? & have an 'A' rating with the Better Business Bureau? & have huge accolades & pages & pages of rave reviews & glowing testimonials by top executives & entities in our industry? if true there be hundreds if not thousands of claims, suits, filings, arrests, company shut down, etc........NONE of that!
His delusional rant is laughable by anyone with common sense.... he's a 'con man' but never sued or judgment against him? He doesn't own his event or do the work, but has run it for 6-7 years past the couple people he mentioned, even being around, just short time associates? He says he 'witnessed Soles of Passion getting scammed', but they are still clients in good standing & say great things about Jay to this day & his amazing work years after this 'made up story'? ....... the obvious 'lies & slanderous attempts' go on & more impossibly 'outrageous' as they go. If any of this is true, he would have been driven out of business many years ago, not approaching 50 yeras of legendary status & exemplary status, obvious to the dozens of industry icons & super credible CEO's that join him at no cost for his work & events year in & year out.
All this from a delusional mental patient, with history of mental & anti-social issues, that he went out of his way to try to help, sacrificing greatly and in a kind & giving way, only to have this once homeless & hospitalized patient, with no credits, who's owes Jay so much, would with no facts write such horrible & untrue made up lies about someone who has almost 50 years of exceptional credits & accolades! Shows anyone can write anything about anyone on an anonymous site like this, with having to show no proof, facts or reason...... Jay's voluminous credits, testimonials, rave reviews & honorable accolades & real ratings by renowned businesses speak for themselves. It's disheartening to see pure fictional stories & lies written about REAL hard working honest dedicated people that have worked their lives to do good work for decades doing good work with exceptional people.
My credits since 1969 as a professional musician & since 1974 on the business side of music & entertainment are real, verifiable & factual - see www.JayWarsinske.com. The hundreds of top professionals in the industry I have worked alongside KNOW the truth, the tireless hundreds of thousands of hours I've put in dedicated to my craft, helping grow great companies, artists, releases & ventures around the world. You don't achieve the massive credits, accolades, and accomplishments I've achieved by just 'wanting it', 'dreaming about it' or certainly not by 'faking it'.
I know WHO wrote this & the amount of emotional baggage this person had before I met them, & even though I've done nothing but help him in many many ways, he's 'lashing out' in a desperate attempt to smear & slander REAL PEOPLE. The sheer mention of the people he lists make it real clear, WHO it is & WHY he has so much pent up frustration with everyone in his life. Not only were these people compensated & work done, anyone in the REAL industry know who I am, what I do, & the amazing knowledge, expertise, longevity & dedication I have to the industry! If I was such a 'fake' there would be hundreds of claimms, suits, & scandals.... not a couple delirious haters with made up accusations.
