Complaint Review: Industrial Transportation In Trans

Industrial Transportation is a minority company based out of Cleveland Ohio who subcontracts services such as freight management and switching. They have sighed contracts with several unions and will not live up to those contracts. Employees have documented reverse discrimination and favoritism at the Toledo facility, and have filed several grievances at which the company refuses to show up to arbitration meetings. Supervision uses intimidation to control its employees and awards those who obey with overtime without following seniority.

Switching units are unsafe and badly in need of repair, and companies who service said equipment will hold hostage repaired equipment until bills are paid. Equipment is run 24 hours a day, unsanitary as drivers are forced to eat in units and work eight or more hours without taking breaks due to demands of the job. The company uses your personal cell phone as your only contact with your supervisors, as you may not see them for weeks at a time.

I do not recommend anyone considering employment with this company, unless you can accept being threatened by other employees who do not understand how a Union shop runs. More than one employee was threatened by other employees and supervision tells them if they file a report they will be escorted off the property. Total disregard for the rights of it employees will be the demise of this company.
