My wife and I become victims of SCAM by Industry Model and Talent Studio. Their representative approached my wife in shopping mall and asked if she would be interesting in getting our son into advertisement complain for kind clothes. Representative said we need to take pictures and it's completely free so she signed for appointment. When we came to appointment and met "development director" Naomi Ness it turns out than this photoshoot session is not free. They need to charge us some money to take pictures. Then they'll do marketing of our son for free, send his information to companies who are looking for models, advertise him both on paper and online.

Photo session took less than 30 minutes. They used outdated equipment and didn't give any attention to making at least somewhat acceptable pictures. For example they put out son on some piece of dirty black fabric saying it's "screen". Of course pictures turn out ugly. Lord, camera they used is now in Canon Camera Museum!

My wife went there to pick-up pictures after photo session and it is turn out than we need to give them more money to do marketing. They need money to make marketing materials. Even posting of pictures of web site Gigacomps.com is not free and cost starts from $450. Also "marketing director" who didn't bother to give her business card was soliciting my wife to sing some papers without my knowledge.

Basically these people lied to us at every step:
1. At mall representative said photos are free - not true, at least $850
2. "development director" Naomi Ness said marketing is free - not true, at least $450

After than I gave numbers of calls to this company trying to understand what could we do about it. They don't have refunds, they don't do marketing with at least $450 fee for "materials". This company is SCAM, they make false statements about service they provide and make you sign papers which don't give you any rights. Also web site they use for "marketing" was already sued in NY for "making deceptive and exaggerated claims about the services it provided to aspiring models and actors" (here is link to NY Attorney General: http://www.oag.state.ny.us/press/2006/jan/jan19a_06.html).

I looked at web and found number of people who were scammed by this company. If there is a group who filing lawsuit against - I'd like to join!

Hi my name is Jordan and i've actually just undergone this scam as well. It's really late and don't really have the energy to go into full detail about the issue i faced but i can relate to your problem. Reading your report has saved me the the trouble of going and getting my photos and losing the opportunity of attempting to get my money back. My mother and I are going to politely ask for the return of our money and if things don't work out, take it to the next level. We pressured the saleswoman who goes by Naomi Ness into bringing up review sites however the one that came up had a huge disclaimer below it, had bad grammar and wasn't exactly believable which helped her case at the time. So we paid the $1000 and got the old line well because i feel you have such potential i'll give you the 4th outfit for free. Ironically they have a paper for the reason of just that, having modifications to the payment plan for pictures. Anyway i was hoping to get in touch with you because we'd like to touch base with people who've undergone the same time wasting, money wasting scam we have last afternoon.
Thank you for reporting the scam, it really helped me out and my name is again Jordan and my preferred email is (((ROR REDACTED))) but my alternate is (((ROR REDACTED))). Please tell me if you've received this. As a high schooler it's not productive for me to be dropping $500 to help my mom out for this "cause". (Sorry if some of this didn't make sense i've been stressing about this which kept me up.)
Thanks again!!
