I was mis-informed on a lease of a G-35 and lied to by, Frank, the sales guy that eventually became the manager but is no longer there now (imagine that!?)!

My wife and I were both present at the purchase 39 months ago and I specifically asked a very simple question relating to the terms and conditions of the "normal wear and tear" clause which he replied, "Son, as long as the bumper isn't falling off, you ain't got nothing to worry about <laughing and slapping me on the shoulder>".

I took exceptionally good care of the car, which I loved, always parking it in the rear of parking lots etc.

The inspector came out to view the car before the lease date expired and reported to me that the car looked great and that I just needed 4 new tires which I replaced.  Frank also stated that I wouldn't have to do this as well!

I was told, by Infiniti, that he still needed to check it out, again, before returning the car so the same guy came out and now states that I need to replace the front two rims because they were scratched (due to rubbing a curb - these cars have low profile tires and rubbing a curb is almost inevitable!)

This should definitely be considered "normal wear and tear", regardless, of the statement made by Frank.

I called and spoke with Infiniti of Nashville about this petty charge.  I spoke with "Bo", the new sales manager which was no help at all.   His comment to me was, "we have a new owner and we can't be responsible for a past employee's comments or misleading information".  Really?  So, Infiniti isn't responsible for one of its own employee's actions still there or not?

Needless to say, I will n - e - v - e - r buy a car from the Infiniti dealership in Nashville nor will I ever refer anyone to those money-hungry, dishonest, say what ever sales a car guys again!

I hope the $280 charge that you don't want to help me out with or basically, own up to is worth it.

I can assure you if I ever overhear someone talking about buying a car, I will share my story!

Good job!
