Infinity Dish Network DISH NETWORK CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AND WON'T REFUND MONEY Internet
3 March 2010: I signed up with Infinity Dish Network. I'd charged it to my VISA credit card.
I decided against the installation due to poor customer service.
I am getting the "runaround" with customer service; they keep providing me with phone numbers that are disconnected! They keep apologizing but don't help at all!
I want my $49.95 back!! Who do I contact?

call your credit card company and file a dispute. then the attorney generals office and the bbb. sounds like infinity is a dealer for dish network. when the dealer runs the info for the contract approval . dish puts a reserve of 25.00 dollars on the credit card. but usually within 3 to 30 days after the transaction was started. the reserve is released and this depends on the credit card company themselves on when this happens. that why between 3 to 30 days for the release.
the only charge i know of are the 99.00 activation fee if you opp out of the two year contract. or the dhatoo and the flex promo's have a 99.00 activation fee that has to be prepaid before the install. the 2 year opp out is usually paid when the install is completed.
the only other charge with the credit card is if you were signed up for credit card autopay. but then it would havent been charged until within 10 days after the install. then it would have been for 2 months of programming.
so i really dont know were the 49.99 came from. more in likely by the dealer your started the proccess with.
that why i would start with disputing the credit card charge first.
