Infinity Roofing & Siding claims to have maintained an office in St. Louis since 2006 at an Executive Office in Westport.  However, after checking with the Westport Office and the BBB, they have not.  They had their foreign corportation status terminated due to not paying their fees and filing their reports. However, they did business illegally in Missouri after the April 2012 storm up to June of 2012.  They only had their reinstatement to do business approved after having already done a lot of business here illegally!

Derek Lindsey is the owner and is maintains a low profile as he doesn't want anyone to know who he is.  He is a liar and a cheat and treats those who works for him as dirt.  He does not honor promises he makes.  I have had problems with them honoring their warranty and after doing some research, found out that the salesman was a convicted felon for theft and non-payment of child support!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH INFINITY!

I am writing to respond directly to a Complaint issued by Stan Williams, though not named in his complaint.  Let me first disclose that I am Charles Rusciano, an attorney in Houston, Texas.  I represent INFINITY ROOFING, and am its General Counsel.  After this complaint was called to my attention, I signed on to the hosting website publishing the complaint to issue a rebuttal.  In doing so, before being able to file a rebuttal, I was required to disclose all manner of information to the website.  I do not mind doing so, for I am not afraid of expressing myself openly and honestly, unlike some people who wish to employ guerrilla warfare to launch a personal attack and attempt to remain anonymous.

It is important for anyone reading the complaint about Infinity and Derek Lindsey to know that the person writing this complaint is not a customer, but someone who was utilized as a sales agent for Infinity.   The company is indeed based in Houston, Texas and does business in 15 states.  The person complaining was not complying with his employment contract, and was, in fact, deliberately attempting to divert money from a roofing customer to himself. He was dismissed.  This is the forum he chose to lash back at Infinity.  Ripoff Report appears to be an excellent idea for public service to allow people to express their first amendment rights.  The fact that they do not remove complaints makes it a strong outlet for consumers to express their experiences about a merchant.  In this instance, however, the complaint is not coming from a customer.   The author is a disgruntled employee who chose this forum to lash out at Infinity.  For those of you who may be reading the original complaint, please read it for exactly what it is.  Infinity complies with every States corporate registrations and licensing requirements as they exist.  Has there been oversight or delay in some filings?  Yes.  Is this done for deception? No.  One cannot do business successfully in so many states without doing right by the states requirements, and more importantly by the customers in each location.

Mr. Williams accuses Infinity of being a storm chasing company.  Fully understood, his words are obviously chosen to represent a derogatory statement about the company.  Infinity markets it services in the states where it is registered to do business, and will, without a doubt, seek business where storms have hit and destroyed roofs.  Thats where business is.  One does not market ice to Eskimos in northern Alaska.  It is what the company does with its customers and the fairness it demonstrates with customers, insurance companies, and its suppliers which matters.  And in those areas Infinity has always been up-front and honest to build on its past successes.  It is a member of the Better Business Bureau wherever it commences business activity, and does work hard to rectify any complaints.

Derek Lindsey is not hiding from anyone.  He has built a successful company and maintains a business headquarters office in Houston, Texas.  His business address and personal address are known and published.   He does not hide behind a P. O. Box, or other false and non-existent locations.  Infinitys website is informative, discloses real places, a real address for its headquarters, and names of real people on its team.  Hardly what, as the complainant states, Missouri is trying to stop.   Virtually all that Mr. Williams disparages is, at its core, false - not to mention frivolous, pointless, and inconsequential.    All persons reading the complaint would be better advised to address their attentions to local BBB offices, the Attorney General for your State, local licensing authorities,  and any of the professional associations to which the company is a member.   In the practice of hiring numerous people as the company expands, there will always be an occasional bad apple.  No employer of the size of Infinity should be required to maintain actual knowledge of child support payments and other criminal allegations which have not appeared on a routine background check.   It is more important for Infinity to address those problems it can remedy, and do so as expediently as possible.  When someone does not follow the rules and the provisions of his contract, Infinity will not hesitate to dismiss him, even if it results in internet retribution as is demonstrated by the words of the Mr. Williams. Infinity will continue to do business openly and honestly, and give customers the products and services they deserve.  We ask that you read the complaint for exactly what it is - sour grapes, and calculated slander.

Thank you.
