InfinityDis InfinityDish.com Deceptive Business Practices Internet
In June of 2013 I contacted Infintity Dish to sign up for Dish Network satellite television. After speaking to the representitive and advising that I wanted to take the most inexpensive route, I was asked if I wanted to get Geek Squad service. I advised the rep that I work in IT and did not need the service. The rep agreed and said that I would not be signed up for the service. I gave my credit card information for the initial set up costs and called it a day.
After installation by the Dish technician, my credit card was billed 39.99 for Geek Squad service even though no one from the Geek Squad showed up. A few months went by and at the end of December 2013, according to a manager at Geek Squad, a monthly service of 19.99 was submitted with payments being drawn on the 19th of January and February of 2014. Service I did not authorize or request.
When I called the InfinityDish number to track down my initial intake notes and the name of the person I spoke with but was immediatly transferred to Dish Network. InfinityDish is not doing Dish Network any favors with their deceptive business practices.
