info@discountking.com This company rip me off. they sent guys to build out my store and the destroyed wiring in my ceiling and also left and did nnot finish my build-out. the person i spoke with on the phone was rude Kamal and ddisrespectful.. i asked for my refund back from the store not being buildout a number of time and the owner refused to give me back what i was do even after i repoted to him that the crew he sent went back on there own recognises he called me a liar and rufuse to answer my emails. after he agreed to reimburse me $4000 for work not renendered and $2000 for over charges after i paid $30,000 for turnkey project. i warn anyone who is looking to open a dollar store or retail store never to use 9505 Harwin Drive Houston, Texas Nationwide

Discount King Wholesale is a scam and a rip off the were suppose to build out my dollar store.. but instead they took my money and ran they refused to refund my money for the labor that was never done. ther crew came in and sabotaged my electrical system and then left without building out my store. the owner Kamal was rude and direspectful. and has yet to return my funds. he said he doesnt care what i say. i have written testimonial and eyewitness this bad business company. these people are out to take your cash and ruin your lifes dream. i recommend that any one looking to open a store stay as far away from DISCOUNT KING WHOLESALE. i am currently opening  a law suit on them to get my money back and any damages that has been done to me.

About owner at discount king.. please do share the forgery and all the lies I have email pictures witness ant text messages to prove there a rip off and also the proof is in the puddhing.. there is more than one complaint about this company on Ripoff Report. Need I say anymore they are liers and I will not be intimidated by there false accusations. That how it all started with there continues lies and refusal to return my money. My store is up and running and it is beautifully done by a proffesional Me and my family have impeccable skills and are all certified carpenter's. So be sure my lawyers are all over this one And they are under investigation. So people please get as far away as you can from Discount King. And @OWNER OF DISCOUNT KING, YOU DONT HAVE TO TALK TO MY ACCOUNT OR LAWYER TO WRITE ME A CHECK FOR THE REUND OF $6000 that you agreed upon in your email. So please stop harassing me with your emails

We are surprised and shocked to find out that a person can stood so low and Lie about the whole situation.

If people start the business with the wrong footings, how can you expect them to be Successful in Business and Life.

Our Crew was working in the state of Maryland, when she contacted us to help her with opening her new dollar store. She already had signed the Lease for more than a month, and she was loosing rent, and was looking for someone to help her to open her dollar store. She contacted us and our crew in Maryland, went to her store and looked at the location and survey the premises and we gave her very low bid to set up her store, since our crew was already working at other location in Maryland, only about 40 miles from her store.

We did set up the gondola shelving and installed the slat wall board, and the lights were not working properly in the store, and there were no lights in the back part of the store.

She used our two crew person Hector and Pedro, to install the ceiling lights and ceiling tiles and to do other misc. work in the store, which is not included in our contract. While doing this work, Pedro discover that the electrical wiring were faulty and very old and outdated and the electrical panel and circuit breakers were also too old and not working properly and the electric outlets were not working. She called the Master Certified Electrician, He checked all the wirings and informed her that this is a Fire Hazard, and you should not open the store till you get the major electrical wiring replaced and install a new electrical panel and the electrician also informed the City Inspector, She talked to the Landlord, and the Landlord informed her that the lease says AS IS, so he can not help her. The Electrician needed to get the new permit to work on the premises from the City Inspector,  as this was a major electrical work. The City Inspector informed that no one is allowed to work in the premises till all the wiring and electrical work is completed. This work might take one week or ten days.

It does not make any sense for our crew of Four Person to stay in  Maryland, in the hotel and wait for the work to be completed. It cost money and Payroll, Rental Car  and Food Expenses. So we both agreed that the crew will go back to Texas and will come back after the Electrical Work is completed, but you will have to pay us for only the additional Rental Car Expenses and the Gas for two ways.

She paid us only  $6000.00 to completely Set Up her Store, normally it cost around  $10,000.00 with our Company and over $14,000.00 with other Company for the same job. Since our Crew was in Maryland we decided to do it at a lower price. We already worked in her store for about four to fivd days and set up  the store fixtures and slat wall board, the only thing was remaining was to display all the merchandise stock on the shelves.

We asked her for only  $1500.00 additional money to cover for the Rental Car Expenses and Gas for round trip, which is very low, considering that our crew will have to drive for about  30 hours from Texas to her store, without stopping for Sleep on the Road, and again return from Maryland to Texas additional 30 hours trip.

We did not ask for any payroll expenses or any other expenses for Hotel or Food.

She Refused to pay even  $1500.00 for the trip expenses.

It was not OUR FAULT , THAT HER ELECTRICAL WIRING WAS old and outdated and Fire Hazard.

We send the Crew to Finish the job, but if the place is not available to do the work, and we had to go back to our Home Office, then what we are supposed to do.

We will be more than happy, if some one can Solve this Problem.

She is not ready to Listen to anything, All she knows is how to Shout and Scream.

She was doing the same thing with our worker in Maryland, but the workers were quiet and listening to her

Screaming. 

We sent her so many E mails to solve this problem, Our working Tools are still in her store, which are valued over  $1500.00

If some one can help us to solve this problem I would be very much obliged to them.

We asked her several times to give us the phone number of her Accountant or Lawyer, so we can talk to them

and explain the problem, but she failed to provide us with any contact information.

It is not our Business Practice to leave some one in the middle of the road,  We would really like to Finish her store set up as soon as possible.

But she would not co-operate with us. We are already Losing money on this project.  The Worker's do not care about the problem or the situation, all they need is the Payroll for every day they work or on the road trip.

we are sacrificing that money from our pocket, paying the workers their payroll and we are still willing to pay their payroll and finsh the project.

But she should at least pay for the Gas and the Rental Car Expenses, which is only  $1500.00 for Ten Days.

and we are willing to pay the worker's payroll and complete the project.

How can you be so stubborn,  that only for  $1500.00 you are also hurting yourself.

It is very difficult to explain her,  she can not undertand any Logic .
