Info Graphix Systems I know A Rip Off When I See One Drexel Hill Pennsylvania
My fiance' received a letter stating that he had won national/state lotter/sweepstakes in the past 7 years. It was tagged Compensation Draw.
It stated that a ticket with the serial #38745014AL attached to his dame drew the lucky winning numbers 22-87-76-44-24. It then stated he is "entitled to a lump sum payment of US$5000,000.00!!"
He received a check in the amount of $4,200.00. They requested that he send a check in the amount of $3,200. It had to do with "cross-border transfer regulations.
The Fee Agents were in South Africa and the other in Canada. It stated his claim agent was David Morgan. The letter was signed by Dwight Jones.
I immediately thought that if it sounds to good to be true then it's a ripoff. I came to the computer and googled the company. Why would we receive a letter and check from Pennsylvania and have to contact someone in Canada or Africa for the money. My rule of thumb is that if I have to send money for monies that I have supposedly won, then I haven't really won anything and it leaves a door wide open for people to be taken advantage of.
So many elderly people would not know and they would do exactly as the letter stated.
I feel this company should be made to pay the money and be prosecuted for this type of a scam.
