Complaint Review: Info US 411

January 2009-Our office receives a call from InfoUS411 to sell their service. The call is transferred to me, office manager. The individual from InfoUS411 informs me that our office agreed to use their service back in June 2007. I inform them that we have no record of this and that we do not want to use their service. This individual continues to tell me that I can cancel at any time and not pay anything. I tell them, I have no record and that I have received no billing for their services. InfoUS411 continues to explain that the services can be cancelled at any time. I then tell them to cancel.

January 26, 2009, I receive a bill from InfoUS411 for $512.65. To check if InfoUS411 is creditable, I check their web site. I find that our office is not listed. Their are other businesses with similar names but not ours. I am now receiving calls and regular bills. The calls are from an individual named Sharon. I have asked Sharon for proof of the June 2007 agreement. None has been provided. As of 21 April 2009, I went back on to their web site to check and still there is no listing for our business. I believe that this operation is a SCAM.

Please use this information to help with your business operations. $512.65 my sound small but it is alot for a small business.
