I received a phone call from Mildred Wright who works in the Accounts Receivable Department for Infocom USA, Inc. and she told me that an invoice in the amount of $299.95 was past due. I told her that I was not aware of any such invoice and asked that the invoice be faxed to me.

After receiving the invoice I immediately called her back and said that we had no such advertising with her company. She told me that our administrative assistance confirmed the order and that she would let me listen to the recorded tape from their conversation. In turn I told her that our administrative assistance did not have the authority to place any such order and that we were not going to pay this invoice and we did not have no such advertising with her company.

Infocom USA called me back and let me listen to a recorded tape from the person who alledgedly called back to our office to confirm the order that was placed. After listening to the recorded message which in the first place I could not even understand what the message was confirming because he was talking so fast but I immediately realized that this was a scam.
I asked Ms. Wright if she could let me listen to the first recorded message from the person who called to set up the order. She told me that it was had probably already been erased.

I called Mildred Wright with Infocom, USA and I told that we were not going to pay this invoice and she said that if did not pay the invoice that our company would be reported to the Dun & Bradstreet.

I have news for Infocom, USA. Not only am I going to report them to the BBB but I will also report them to the Attorney General's office.
