I had purchased 2 Motorola V600 phones from Inphonics which is a company I had found at the Cellular Choices website. The purchase I made was with the understanding that I would recieve $200 in rebates for each phone. I was denied a rebate, because I was not able to submit the forms with in the unreasonable 120 day schedule.

This is a scam becuase you need 3 statements from your phone carrier showing statements paid in full. If you consider the ~10-15 day delay from the time of subscribtion to the time of first statement that leaves you with about a 10 day window of opportunity to submit your rebate. Plus the instruction are unclear, because the state that you need 3 statements showing you balance to be paid in full. That's actually four months, since the first statement does not show any balances paid.

I had submitted all the legitamate documents, however I am now I am out of $400.

Also note, to make a complaint in full (talk to a person) took over 2 hours. Their automated phone number is a maze of confusion and I was passed from one person to another. Total waste of time.

The CEO of the company is Mr Rick Caulder and his phone # is 202-333-0001. I called him everyday and left him a voicemail message. He never called back but each message got more heated then the next. Finally I told him I would be calling the Better Business Bureau and much to my surprise I recieved a phone call that afternoon stating that my refund was being processed and I got it a week later. I also spoke to a woman in customer service named Yvorial #1-8004449543 and that number takes you directly to her or a woman named Samantha Harper in the office of the president.

Hi, Krister:

We are the nation's largest third-party activation company, and we bring in millions of customers for the carriers. All the major carriers rely on us as one of their largest acquisition channels, so it should come as no surprise that carrier representatives know of us.

I'd like to try and help you resolve this rebate problem. When did you order your phone? Do you have your order number? And what exactly was the problem with your statements?

The rebate process can (and does) take some time, but if you get in touch with me and can provide some of that info, I'll do everything I can to find an answer for you.

Thanks,

Also, I had called T-Mobile and they were able to help me. They have also noted the complaint, and was surprised to find out that they immediately knew which company ripped me off.
