I purchased two Motorola Razr phones on 08/16/05 for $400. These were advertised as free after rebate with a two year contract.

I sent in my rebate forms when required (between 180 - 210 days after activation). The company shows that they were received on 03/17/06 and approved on 05/23/06.

My rebate forms state that I will receive a check within 10-12 weeks of their receipt of my rebate request. Since they received my rebates on 03/17/06, I should have received my rebates no later than 06/09/06. I have not received the rebates, and when I spoke with someone on the phone I was told they were not sure when they would arrive. The person on the phone refused to give me any sort of timeframe whatsoever, even though these rebates are long overdue.

I made the representative on the phone aware that I intend to file a lawsuit against their company covering the cost of court fees, travel fees, attorney fees, etc. if I am not given my refund within a month.

I would advise anyone to purchase your cell phones elsewhere from a company you can trust! It is worth paying a little bit more if you have to.

I just wanted to post an update that I received my check yesterday August 7, 2006. What a surprise! The letter that came with the check mentioned my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I would suggest that if you haven't made a complaint with them yet that you do. It took about a month since complaining to them and various other agencies, but I now have my $400 check. I figured I was probably wasting my time putting in complaints, but believe it or not it actually worked! Good luck to everyone else and please continue to warn others of this company...I know I will.
