This is a documentation of the problems with a company called "Inphonic" which started harassing OTG Adventures Inc.

We bought 2 cell phones online which did not work in our area code, 81252. The phones took almost 2 weeks to arrive, due to FedEx sending them to the wrong address.
We activated them with Verizon as required, and paid the fees for the phones.

When we found that the phones did not work well, we contacted Verizon and asked them what to do.
Verizon waived (refunded) the activation fees, ($35 and $25) AND the early termination fees of $175 x 2 (for each phone) and told us that the phones were ours to keep, since they were in our possession over 15 days, and considered used.

Not wanting the phones, we sold them after clarifying with Verizon that they were ours to keep or do with as we wished.

We Never heard of "Inphonics" until they sent a demand for payment of $250 PER PHONE.

We are disputing their claim and have notified them that if they charge our VISA card as they threatened, it will be automatically disputed.

Here is what Verizon said when I asked them what to do: (Underline mine)
"...I will as a courtesy waive the Early Termination Fees on both lines if you would like to cancel service now, however, you will be responsible for the charges incurred up until your service is canceled. The phones that you received at a discounted price are yours to keep, as the return period has ended and they are now considered used phones. It has been a pleasure assisting you today, and we appreciate your business. Please write to us again through www.verizonwireless.com if you have any further questions.
Sincerely, Nancy Verizon Wireless Customer Service ..."
