I purchased two cell phones from one of Inphonic parter or subsidiary, November 2005. I was told to receive $250 rebate for each phones. I submitted all the required paperwork on March 9, 2006. I got the runaround just like many other unfortunate people who were/are dealing with Inphonic. I complained to the PUC (since T-Mobile contracted Inphonic to handle the rebate, and sales). Phone companies do not like PUC complains! T-Mobile contacte Inphonic and I was promised to get the check no later than 9/5. Of course nothing in the mail.
I went back to T-Mobile (with a 27 page document, showing all the steps etc.)

I got an email from Inphonic the following morning, and at this time they promised 5-10 business day for the check. The deadline is 9/29.

If the check is not here, I am planning to file complain about Inphonic on 9/30 with the attorney general of all states they have a presence, BBB, PUC, and every other organization who can put the pressure on them.
I am planning to list all of their executives, including the board members on all web sites that deals with consumer fraud and hall of shame.
