Complaint Review: Inphonic

Inphonic Rebate ripoff Phoenix Arizona

I bought a phone in August 2005. It came with a $170.00 Inphonic rebate. I sent in all the paperwork, and in October 2005 was sent an email telling me that due to a computer problem, they lost all my originals, and I would need to re-submit the originals (if they are original, how is this possible?) I reported them to the IL States Attorney, who forwarded my complaint to Arizona States Attorney.

Yesterday, I received a letter from the AZ States Attorney telling me they (Inphonic)moved to Washington DC, so will not be pursued.

What a great scam they have going. Is there help?

Empty lies and a phoney front of a response

Doreen Dennis is doing nothing promoting her own bogus agenda. I emailed her--repeatedly, ultimately she claims it is all my fault and no rebate will ever be forthcoming. INPHONIC IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM.

I am ashamed for Doreen Dennis, she is misleading.

BEWARE of hollow promises made in her responses!!!!!

Copies are acceptable

Dear Tim,

I am not aware of any computer problems, but we do accept copies of rebate materials. I am not sure why you would have been told that copies are not acceptable.

Also, our offices have always been in Washington DC. Again, I don't understand why the AG would have told you that we moved, since we've never operated in Arizona. Arizona is the location of our current rebate processing vendor.

I would be glad to look into your rebate issue, and to investigate this "computer problem" you mention.

Please send me an email with your order number and details of your transactions and I'll be happy to look into your issue.

Please send me an email with the above information: ddennis(at)inphonic.com.

regards,
