It has been over 16 weeks since my rebate was accepted at the rebate processor's site. I have contacted this company over a dozen times via e-mail and phone and they give me the same form-letter response. "Your rebate is still proccessing."

Even when the complaint was escalated to the BBB, the FTC, and now the Attorney General for Florida, I hear nothing from InPhonic except the same form letter response, and I am unable to get a manager's attention at the company.

Continental Promotions Group, the rebate processor, claims that InPhonic has not funded the rebate so they cannot send me my check. They admit that I have filled out my paperwork properly. They only provided this info when the BBB was involved. Even if this claim is false, it is InPhonic's responsibility to give the money back to the consumers that was promised.

I have contacted everyone I possibly could contact at this company in order to get resolution. Even a woman posting on CNet.com message boards claiming to work for InPhonic. Also an email address given by the representative from Continental Promotions Group. I have gotten nowhere.

InPhonic has been kicked out of the BBB. Their stock has increased 57% this year. This profit comes from the thousands of consumers they defraud.

6 months after purchasing my phone and service, and 2 months after the check was promised I received the check.

So my complaint was resolved eventually (although I had to contact 2 BBB's, and 4 state and federal agencies). I'm never doing business with this company again.
