In September 2005, I bought 2 Motorolla RAZR V3 phones from Wirefly.com for $180 each, with a promised rebate of $180 each after 6 months. Six months later, I submitted my rebate materials, and thus began the battle. I was told "the check has been issued" or "the check is in the mail" more times than I can count. Each claim was a fraud. The ONLY WAY to receive a rebate from Wirefly.com is to wait until it's clear that they have no intention of paying you (a few months after submitting your rebate materials). Then you need to call Inphonic at 703-636-4737, speak to Earl Harvey, and claim that your only remaining recourse is to take them to court for a much, much higher amount than the original rebate. After several follow-up calls to Earl or his colleagues at that same office, you will receive payment. There is no other way.

Except to avoid Wirefly.com.
