As a former employee of this company I can attest to radon testing standards not being met especially for their corporate clients. If a specific client requires specific radon test equiptment to be used to supply money to a relocating employee and it is not "handy" or cost efficient, then sub-par equiptment is substituted (ie, client requires a radon monitor but insurance must be purchased to ship this monitor out of state then e-perms will be sent instead).

This is particularly a problem because the main difference between eperms and a radon monitor (or CRM Continous Radon Monitor) is that eperms will only give one lump read out when they are analyzed and will not show tampering of the device whereas with a CRM, hourly read outs are printed on a tape and show a "T" where potential tampering occured. Since the clients do radon tests on sellers' homes, they may try to tamper with the monitor to obtain lower radon levels that would not scare off any potential buyers.

Reports are generated for each test and provided to the corporate clients to help work out a relocation package for the employee. Every report sent out reads "CRM" and is billed at a CRM rate (much higher than an eperm rate) even if a CRM was not used to do that particular test. If a test is questioned for any reason then the client may request the original or copy of the original CRM tape with hourly readouts. In cases where the CRM was substituted with eperms and a tape is requested then said company will provide a false tape to appease the client.

This is a problem because radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US and providing false testing like this is endangering the lives of potential buyers duped by false radon testing.
