Complaint Review: INSTANT CASH USA

Back in September, I asked this company for a loan. I was short with funds and they gave us 300.00.

I have been making my loan payments on time and recently found myself in a situation where I needed to delay my loan payments and put them on hold.

Back in October, I was rushed to the hospital due to a fully collapsed left lung. The week after I got out of the hospital, I had to be off of work for an additional 3 weeks. This made my finances extremely hard to keep up with. Then when I went in for a follow up doctor appointment, I found that I was diagnosed with a very rare and fatal lung disease. This will later down the road require a lung transplant should experimental drug treatments not help.

Once I found this out, I contacted Instant Cash USA by email and asked if they could help me put my payments on hold for a little so I could get my finaces back in order and asked them to hold off on payments. I received an email about 3 days later from a guy named Mike who worked there. Here is his response back to me

I do not know what gave you that impression.it does not remotely say that anywhere on our site or in the payment program emails we send you. Did you review these?

They basically state here that they will not work with you on changing your payment arrangements.

Today I called them after trying to get a hold of them after several attempts and I spoke with a lady who I explained my situation to.

She basically laughed at me and says to me "oh now you have a fatal lung disease" and begins laughing. She said well it's funny to me how you all of a sudden have a rare lung disease when you didnt have one before." I said do you want to talk to my finace'? she's like why what do I need to talk to him for. I put her on the phone with him and he told her as well that she needed to refund my money because now we have no money to work with for the next two weeks.

She told him he was basically lying to her as well and he was just saying that because I told her to. He said that he was going to contact an attorney and she said she had no reason to refund the money and to go ahead and get an attorney.

She'd even wanted to know from me why I would want to change my payment arrangements when they were on time. I told her I couldnt afford to make the payments right now as I had been out of work for 3 weeks after my hospital stay. (I have since as of yesterday had to give my 2 week notice for my job because of my health. It was not an easy decision but it had to be done).

she proceeded to laugh at me and say that I was lying to her as well as my fiance'was as well. She said I have no reason to give you your money back as it is what you owed.

I had also tried to explain to her that the money they took out more than what I had in the bank. Now after having just got out of the negative, we are now back in. We had under 70.00 in the account and they took out two payments eaqualing 120.00. I told her that the money wasnt there in the first place and they had done that one other time. Each time they take the money out of the account and it causes us to go in the negative it's 28.00 on top of the amount.

They are refusing to return our money and told my finace to go ahead and call an attorney as they are not refunding the money. They said good luck getting your money back. you wont win anyway.

I do owe money on the loan but the fact that they will not let me reschedule my payment arrangements makes me furious.

I did not ask for this kind of treatment and here when you have a serious and fatal condition you would expect someone to be compassionate and considerate as well as understanding. Boy! was I wrong.


When you open a loan up with Instant Cash Usa, they are eager to give you the money but when you need to put payments on hold or reschedule your payment arrangements, might as well not bother. Good luck if you're like me and have a fatal condition that will eventually kill you with out a lung transplant and the experimental drugs needed dont work.

They are the most insensitive company out there and I urge everyone if you go through a loan with them. You better be in good health. If you're sick and dying like me, dont expect compassion out of them. They couldnt show me any why would they show others the same.


This is one of those Buyer Beware situations. I strongly urge you all not to get a loan from them. Thing will be fine until you need to change payments or put them on hold due to medical or other situations that require it.

As of December 31st, I will be no longer working and it will be up to my finace' to bring in the money. We are both upset and hurt by this kind of treatment and the fact that they couldnt show sensitivity to a very real and deadly lung disease that I have, that is far more damaging than any negative marking on a credit report.

I strongly urge you all, if you're thinking about getting a loan, either choose a different company or avoid it all together. you're making a big mistake when you set up a loan plan through this company.

They will take you for a ride if you cant keep your payment schedule and dont even think that you'll get compassion out of them. They couldnt show me and my fiance any, you wont get it either.

Moral of this story. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR LOAN COMPANY! THEY ARE EAGER TO HAND OUT THE MONEY BUT NO COMPASSION WHEN IT IS REALLY NEEDED~ TELL WHO YOU MUST AND SPREAD THE WORD. DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THIS COMPANY! They are horrible company to conduct any kind of business with. Protect yourselves now and stay away from Instant Cash USA. If you treasure the money in your bank account, you'll stay away from them. Dont get hurt by them like I did.

Here's their catch line. YOU CANNOT CHOOSE TO SKIP A PAYMENT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
