Received an email stating they had information on acting jobs ready to audition for. (How they knew I was an actor, I'll never know) It stated I could sign up for free but asked for my credit card # for verification. In the fine print it stated that afterwards, my credit card would be billed on a regular basis. Every actor knows that they are never to pay for information as to where audition take place. The only time you pay an agent is after you have worked a job, then the agent gets apercentage of your pay. I've been in show business a long time, and Scammers like InstantCast really make it hard and discourage young people who are just starting out. I hope no one falls for their deceptive practices!
