Instant Checkmate.com Overcharged for non existant credit report service! Las Vegas, Nevada
A company employee using a debit card payed for a brief criminal background/credit report check from Instant Checkmate.com without verifying their service quality.
No background information was received and with no notification on their home page we were enrolled in a $19.95/month service plan.
Luckily I[owner] noticed the transaction pending on my account and was able to cancel and was credited by my bank for the money debited[$60] because charges were unauthorized.
2nd contactwith there call center and was told had to notify them 30 days in advance to cancel.
1st contact with call center they couln't find the account #.
Typical internet ripoff scheme.
Will contact BBB in L. Vegas for money refund even though my bank paid.
