Instant Tax service Scamming, and Liars Houston, Texas
I'm feeling like the rest of the customers on here about Instant Tax Service. I went into Instant Tax service on December 30th to apply for the loan. I wasn't approved for the full 1,000 loan which was understandable being that was my first time at Instant Tax service. I only went In with my last check stub, and information from self employment. The Tax Rep was very quiet,and wouldn't say much when I asked her about the fees, and what day are they filing so I can try to get the rest of my info needed. She (tax rep) said they don't send out taxes until January 17 th. It wasn't until I was signing papers I got a quote on my return, and seen the fee of 261.00 for processing my return. I couldnt cash the check with Bank of america. I called back into Instant Tax Service On January 5 spoke with the Manager Tyiesha I let her know the difficulties I was having about cashing the check she told me it should go through like thats all she could say. I than let her know how uncomfortable this cash place was making me feel, and that I was returning the check and would file my taxes else where. The Manager let me know that they cant accept the check because it wasnt from them it came from their bank Tax Tree. I put up an arguement didnt get anything resolved. I let Tyiesha know since their making me file with them I need to make sure that all my info needs to be put in the system to file my taxes she stated thats fine.
On January 18th my Taxes were filed w/ouy my W2s from different jobs I worked. I am having a difficult time getting the correct information to contact anybody from Instant Tax service about this matter. I contacted the BBB, and was giving a claim number. spoke with someone from the FDIC, Now I been for 2 weeks trying to call Tax tree I just found out on Monday that I will be charged 600.00 for my fees Im beyond unhappy now I cant get in touch with General Manager of the store, and the Manager Tyiesha wont take my calls.I will not pay more than the 261.00 I was told I would have to pay. Can anyone give me numbers to speak directly with someone. IRS says refund is due on feb 7th need HELP..

Personally I don't care if I get a penny... I'm not out for the money like ITS is, I'm out to get them SHUT DOWN! If Fez the creator of this "Business" was human and not out for money himself, he would run a reputable business.
Doesn't matter .... Turbo Tax and other tax software is getting pretty easy for anyone to use. Will put most small tax shelters OUT OF BUSINESS! YAY! There will still be the need for tax help for people with complicated situations, but there won't be so many. IRS really hurt these small tax hubs when they put a stop to rapid refund loans. Sad though, Instant Tax Service claims it's coming back and that they can give you one! I saw somewhere... about 6 out of 100 ppl get one. I wouldn't go to vegas on those odds! I can't believe they are slick enough to put on the ITS website that you can get one - they should put up there that most ppl don't get one too!

Someone filed one against E-bay. I didn't know anything about it and received a settlement check from the class in the amount of NINE CENTS !!
The lawyers likely got a HUGE amount. This is typical of class actions....the ONLY ones getting rich are the low life lawyers.

I wrote this and the owner of the ITS I went to repsonded with "Read the fine print". What ignorance!!!
I am totally with filing a class action lawsuit. I wish I had thought to bring a recorder when I went to pick up my check. They weren't able to give me the documents I signed in the beginning (because there aren't any). The only solution they offered me was for me to refuse the check and they would send back to IRS and I could file elsewhere. If that is the case, why couldn't I do that when I first started having problems? I am contacting my lawyer too and hopefully everyone who got jipped can get some sort of money back.

I would like to say to those who are still being ripped off to contact FDIC If you can enough people on here to contact we can get some good class action law suits going. I'm still being scammed met with the Gm of the store out here he thought he talked me into feeling better. I recorded the conversation, and sent in to the lawyers office. They actually tried to pull out there A-game , and show a list of all the costs that I supposedly had signed but dont know I was 1 step ahead of the scammer today. So I was relieved to know that I will be exposing them their forged signatures to everyone. I will not be a satisfied customer until ITS hits the ground. Who thinks in today world anyone has over 600 to give for filing taxes.
