Instantly Vivid New Age Skin Serum DO NOT ORDER - Total Scam - new age Pyramid Scam High Point North Carolina

Ordered a "trial" offering, then a few weeks later, I received charges to my account for $89.87 & $88.99.  I called the phone number listed on my trail samples, and was told because I did not return the product within 14 days of shipping, I was charged for the products, and essentially "enrolled" in an automatic purchasing program.  I informed them that I don't recall those at the terms, and she replied with "those are the terms" - interestingly enough, when you go to the ordering website and click on terms & conditions OR click on private policy, it redirects you to "New Age Neo Hydrate Gold" trial offer out of Arizona, making the same exact product claims.  I informed the customer service representative that this was a bad experience and to cancel any subscription, further orders, etc.  She then began with all kinds of offers "50%", then "75%".  I kept repeating that this was a bad experience, and insisted on canceling.  I was given a cancellation number, was told I would receive an email confirmation, which I did.  My advice is "don't buy, I'm sorry I did".

Complaint filed with NC Consumer Protection, Depart of Justice - recommend others to do the same

#3Author of original report

Thu, April 26, 2018

As a follow up to my earlier report, I did file a claim with the North Carolina Department of Justice's Consumer Protection division (www.ncdoj.gov). On April 3, Instantly Vivid responded to File No. 1802901.  In their response, they committed to a "refunded in full amount of $196.15 as a courtesy for any inconveniences these misunderstandings may have caused.  A lead customer support agent will be reaching out to her to very soon to ensure her satisfaction, as well."  (Their words, not mine - nice grammar!)

This response was included with a reply to me from the Consumer Protection Division, dated April 4, 2018.  After a reasonable time to allow Instantly Vivid to reach out to me, as well as process a full refund, I contacted Instantly Vivid on April 26, 2018, approximately 8:55AM.  I explained to the customer service representative the letter response into my complaint the the NCDOJ, and interestingly, she had no record of the refund, complaint, or response.  She then explained that she would submit for a refund of $89.87 & $88.99 - $17.29 less than their response.  She then had to pass me to a supervisor.  I was on hold for approximately 12-13 minutes; and then was told a refund request was started on 4/19 & 4/20; and would be processed today, April 26.  I was also informed that this will take 5 - 7 business days for the credit to show on my personal account; so that should be no later than May 7 - May 8 timeframe.

I truly believe if I had not taken the further action to contact them, that Instantly VIvid would not have been processing any refund, and time will only tell if it is for the full amount ($196.15) that they commited to OR if it is for a lesser amount ($178.86).

My recommendation to everyone who has stated their own dissatisfactory experience with this company is to contact the Consumer Protection division in North Carolina - go to www.ncdoj.gov, go to "Consumer" section, then select "File a Complaint", then proceed to "Complain on line", the select "General Consumer Complaint" form.  Use the following company information:

Instantly Vivid

1-855-412-3144

The Consumer Protection Division was very responsive, and did so in a very timely fashion.

BEWARE - Another way for them to rip you off - VIP REWARDS

Bak on February 22, 2018, I cancelled my subscription & filed my original report on this website.  Today, I had to call once again, because they automatically enrolled me in some type of "VIP REWARDS", apparently some type of monthly membership program.  They had charged me $4.95, and after a wild goose chase with the "customer service representative" about wanting me to go look at my profile on line, etc; I just kept demanding to her that I want absolutely nothing to do with this company, that it was an unauthorized charge, and that I wanted it cancelled immediately.  It did get a little ugly, but supposedly this VIP Rewards membership is cancelled.  This company & its offerings are a total rip-off scheme. I guess my next stop will be the Consumer Affairs agency with the state of North Carolina - this company needs to be shut down!
