Complaint Review: Institute for Improved Minority Financial Literacy

They have a long list of complaints and a strin of older company names. They promised to assist but only take your money and than make it impossible to contact them. The moment they cannot get any money from you they then send out threatening emails to try to come after you. They said they would provide a service and assistance but never delivered. I had to go through my bank to dispute them. Only then did they attempt to contact me.

Since I went through my bank and filed fraud they are now trying to say they are legitimate. Their long history of changing names and scamming people is on file with the BBB and the Rip-off report websites. There are videos on YouTube about them and what they do. I hope others do not get entangled in this pseudo organization. I have gone through the proper channels with my bank but if they do attempt to do anything I will make sure to let my bank know and update my rip-off report.
