Complaint Review: Institute of Makeup Artistry & F/X

  Like so many others, I too attended this school and was scammed out of my money.I realized very quickly how unprofessional and manipulative the owner was. As mentioned in a previous report the instructor would regulary cancel classes because of personal issues or simply not teach the class anything we had paid for. Students were subjected to her rants of personal problems and even dragged into them. A number of students were asked to work for her with the promise of pay, but were given no pay except clothes as compensation. Students who voiced their issues with the way the school was run were harrassed, threatened, manipulated, and scared off. If you care about your hard earned money and time, please do not come here.
