Integra Financial Benefits Aka Centurion ALMOST GOT ME TOO-BIG SCAM! New York New York
Centurion Credit Card is how I was approached the first time with their "RE-BUILD YOUR CREDIT" offer. I was contacted by a female by the name of Bella on February 22, 2005. She said you have been approved for an unsecured and I repeat an unsecured credit card with a limit of $2000.
I didn't have the $249, so I asked her to call me back. March 4, 2005 she called as Integra Financial Benefits. She wanted the $249 to be deducted from my account. I agreed went through the steps. On the 12th when the transaction was scheduled, money was still in my account. So I called on 14th. Shirley said PC problems should happen today or tomorrow.
Becoming nervous, and quite suspicious, I proceeded to ask all the questions again. This is a credit card, 25 days to receive it? Name of the company and credit card? After 20 min of differing answers I called my bank and put a stop payment for that amount.
I am closing my account with a debit block and have filed a complaint with the FTC with a link to this site, so they can see how many of us have been victims, or close to being scammed.
I was contacted via my cell phone, I wonder if that is the trick?!? Good Luck to all of you who did not get as lucky as I did.
