Integrated Card Services ICS Amount gets higher each month, never used the service, Never had agreement, obligated me to pay. Could not cancel Agoura Hills California
I was searching for credit card systems for my new business and ICS was the first I found. I filled out the application and but stopped at the part where it asked for a bank account number. Later I got a phone call from them and the rep told me that is was required but would NOT be used unless an agreement was made. I went back online and filled that part out. I was told I was approved but in the mean time I found another service that I felt was better (lower percentage) so I did not proceed with ICS. A little while later I get the machine in the mail and I called them and et them know if I decided to use it will get backto them to set it up. I never actually gave the go ahead to send it but I did consider keeping it.
Well, I was happy using what I already have so I never used the machine at all. I noticed a fee coming out of my account and I called to find out what it was for and the guy said it was a monthly fee (which I was never told about) and I further explained that I never used it and I wanted to send the machine back. He gave me a number to call and I did, but never got a call back.
I find another deduction from my account and so I called again, and the guy I spoke with says I was under a contract and I could not send it back, unless I paid $800.00 or more to end my contract. I figured there was nothing I could do because I can't affor a lawyer, having a new business but I have noticed that each month the amound is different. It started at like $32.00, and is now as of today 9/3/13 it is 80 something dollars. This makes me very angry because I am literally giving money away for nothing! I never gave the go ahead to send the machine, I never used it, and I tried to cancel, but never got anyone until it was too late. And now I get charged each month for nothing.
