They advertised "First 90 Days FREE" but they DO NOT honor that.  I was billed an $15.84 "Internet processing fees" even BEFORE I received my card reader.

I opened my account only because they promised that I would receive my reader before the date of my vending event. It came several days afterwards.  I could not use if for that event.

I opened my account April 23 (seven days left in the month) and they charged me an "Internet processing fee" for the whole month of April - - even when I did not receive my card reader until May 3.  I had no ability to process anything in April.

I called the telephone number the charge came from. It was Wells Fargo Bank, but they said they could not refund the charge unless ICS authorized it. I called ICS and Mr. COLT CURTIS promised to refund my fee, but nothing happened.

I processed only one sale in May and on June 3 they charged me another $16.68 "Internet processing fee" again - - even though they advertised and promised 3 MONTHS FREE!

I called again after I saw another complaint on this site about ICS.  Mr. Michael T. (he said he was "not allowed" to give out his last name (no small wonder why he has to hide).  He was very indignant just as the other complainant said.  Condescendingly, he asked me where I saw there claim of "free service" and I told him it was on his own website. I saved a screen shot of it, but you may be able to see it here (before they take it down!!):   http://offers.intlcardservice.com/rates-fees2.html

Colt Curtis never responded back to me, never made any notes of our agreement, nor processed and refund.  Michael T. claimed to have to file a "request for refund" and could not guarantee me that it would be approved.  Additionally, it would take up to 30 days to get my money back as well.

I threatened to cancel doing business with them and dispute the charges with my bank.  Again as the previous complainant stated, he said that I "signed a contract" for three years and that there is a $350 cancellation fee.  He said I did not read the "fine print" or "do my homework".

Back in April, I explained that I would only have sporatic sales opportunities (once a month or less) and total less than $500 in cash sales and probably $100 or less in credit card sales. I explained that to them when I signed up, but they did not say that their contract would not be a good fit for me.

Now, it looks like I may LOSE more money than I hope to make.  My small home start-up business is now FAILED and a personal financial LOSS for me because ICS is going to take ALL of my earnings to satisfy there so-called "contract" - - which I have never seen because they do not provide it.

I contracted with BANK OF AMERICA MERCHANT SERVICES for my first vending event as I did not get my card reader from ICS in time. They set me up in one day to take sales on my laptop and cell phone.  They charged $9.99 per month and were vocal about everything right up front.  They even allowed me to suspend my account during the times where I do not have any sales opportunities, so I do not incur fees when I have no income.  They have good rates, NO contract time, AND NO cancellation fees.
