I was looking to refinance my home and asked for a good faith estimate. The good faith estimate was e-mailed to me with an application fee over $800, a commiment fee of $800 and another fee of $800 that I have no idea what it was for. By the time everything added up I was quoted $2,200 in those three fees without the appraisal $450, the credit, and the warehouse chare of $120. Thinking the charges were way to high I kept shopping and found a mortgage at the same rate but for about $700 in charges. LOOK OUT FOR THESE GUYS!
