Like others here, Integretel slapped a $40+ charge on my SBC phone bill for an outfit called FAQ900.comZZ. Even though my computer has the Windows Firewall activated, and I have Norton Antivirus running, somehow in late November a Trojan Horse installed a virus 'Dialer' program. A Google search found info that this was going around at that time; evidently banner ads at some web sites were infected and installed this. I found it when I ran Spybot. I went to one of the online virus scanners that was listed as finding it then (the Computer Associates one) and removed it.

Called SBC when I got my phone bill and they put the charge in dispute; said to call Integretel. Note... it's not the local phone company's fault; they're required by law to accept these low-life outfits... put a 900/976 number lock on your account... I did that today. Congress needs to change the law that makes this possible; this is one of the stupidest things they've ever done.

Trojans/worms/viruses are criminal activity. Criminal activity that installs a 'Dialer' that calls a per minute 900 number is NOT authorization. Don't let Integretel try to say you 'authorized' it. The rep kept reading the 'script' that I must have authorize it, but finally said I would be credited the $40 charge, and they would put a 'block' on the FAQ900.comZZ number. These are @#$%^&($, bottom feeder outfits; you have to be persistent... if you didn't authorize these calls don't accept ANYTHING they try to throw at you... it took several minutes of denying that I authorized this before the rep finally said they would issue the credit.
