In trying to find out what these charges might be, I started with the internet and searched on "Atlantic Mgmt". That led me pretty directly to this 'site.

Like the others whose reports I read, I had some unexpected charges show up on my phone bill. Unlike the notes I have read, I have done two things. 1) I ed in my computer under "modem" and found the modem log which showed that, indeed, my computer had made the call to (900)444-0353. 2) since the phone connection is only for backup, I disconnected from the phone system.

Now I'll take the advice of others who have submitted reports and contact my phone company, the FCC, and the FTC. I have no intention of paying.
