Integretel 900------- Bill for 2 minutes at $40.00 on quest bill for jan 1-2006 .I have called everyone listed for contacts from quest,integretel,infoservices900.Quest says call infoservices900 they say someone agreed to computer dialer that took time to load and used a service online.i have looked through my computer for a dialer or program icon and cant find one.on the 6th of june my virus program ran automaticly and advised quarantine 2 exe files i believe they use a backdoor call.i called intgretel for exact web page or service provided they couldn't say they only handle finacial.i called infoservives900 again they say the can't tell me what service was bought.there the main company they can't tell the payer what he bought.they say the call through the modem is verified simlar to the 911 phone system.integretel and infoservices both give the same story buyer confirmed twice and downloaded or called through computer.i dont have password or new username on computer no email conformation that ive notice.the time of buy would only be myself.i know if i stupid enough to buy a service online for $40.00 with no receipt membership password.i was uplate past 3 in the morning watching ebay item and surfing i never paid for anything without proof in my life. i believe this is a scam through some kind of networking online logging on call through proxy.once its called they seal the deal logged on phone origin as you.i wouldnt have a problem if the so called service had a name ,web page or access pasword to what im stuck payer for.no answers far as i know money went directly to atlanticngmt thats what 900 services statement says.it must be easier to steal through the phone company.

Dialer virus/trojan dials 900 numbers without consent

#5Consumer Suggestion

I have found that most of the dialing out is done by a trojan or virus that is secretly installed into ones computer. It also can occur through popups even if you deny to install or accept anything.

So there is now a program running that is ghosted in the background. Most virus dectectors cannot pick up this dialer so it is very common to be overlooked. However I did research and found a program that really helps rid of this dialer.

The program installed is usually in your temp files under a program called bpndhfnd.exe which is infected by the Win32:Dialer-407[Trj]Trojan.

I believe this program is used remotely and that the company can send a signal through the phone lines either on dialup or dsl to your computer. When this happens your computer uses the modem or dials another location and charges this phone number to you bill.

This is illegal and needs to be put to a stop. The program that can help you rid of this is called "avast! 4 Home Edition" which is located at http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html . Trust me it works, it is how I foundout about this dialer and now I am sharing my information with you.

Hope it works,
Steve
