The charges on the last three phone bills are not mine. I do not feel that I am responsible for something that I did not approve even though the telephone company say I am. I talked to the telephone company twice yesterday they tell me they cannot adjust the charges that Integretel, Inc has to do that. I talked to Integretel twice yesterday they say that they did not put the charges there and cannot remove them. What am I suppose to do? I am also told on my next bill there will be another charge.
Please help me.

I am a customer service rep with Centurytel. I apologize for your inconvenience. Believe me ... we see so much of your exact same problem everyday it's ridiculous. The reps that you spoke with are correct, in that we can't just adjust the charges. It is illegal for us to deny an incoming charge, such as Integretel's, as a lot of them ARE legitimate. They put it on the bill, we pay them, you pay us. Please realize that this is not Centurytel's billing, and we have nothing to do with it being on your bill. We HAVE to put it there until you dispute it. Read on ...

Here is what you need to do, which is the most that we are able to do for you (believe me when I say we wish we could do more). Call into the contact center (800-201-4099)at your earliest convenience. For Arkansas, we are open 8am to 6pm. Tell the rep that you speak with that you would like to dispute the operator service provider charges on your current bill, and have them recoursed back to the carrier. The rep will place the entire amt in dispute (don't be afraid to include the previous ones, too) for 90 days. This means that while it is being worked on, you won't be disconnected for it. In the meantime, our toll support department will deny and recourse the charges back to Integretel. Generally speaking, you probably won't see them again if they are less than legitimate. The company may attempt to bill you directly at home, but in that case, it would be between you and this company and would not involve your phone service. If it continues to be a problem after Centurytel sends it back to Integretel, you always have the option of speaking with your PSC/PUC or the FCC regarding Integretel's billing.

I apologize that this information was not given to you during your call, as we readily explain this to customers. I would have already done all this for you, but being that you didn't leave your phone number, I don't know who I'm looking for! :)

Best Wishes -
