Integrity Power Search Kaleb Dumot Charges a massive retainer for little work and bad candidates
We've been working with these guys for three months. They were referred to us so we assumed they'd do a good job and the $5K per month retainer would pay for itself. Ended up sending us a few candidates a month, all bad (except 1 sub par candidate we tried to offer just to get out of contract).
They're asking us to pay them for all months worked now, equal to $1500 per bad candidate. We've tried to provide them with the feedback they need to send us better candidates but its like speaking with a stone wall. If you're a fellow SaaS startup founder, move on. Do not pay the retainer, do this on a contingency agreement so they'll be incentivized to place someone to actually hire.
