Complaint Review: Integrity Sales

A young girl knocked on our door claiming to be doing a fundrasier for a school dance class. She said she lived on a nearby street, and her mom told her she had to do her fundraising TODAY or she would be in trouble. We felt sorry for her and bought several books totalling $114. The books never arrived, and when a neighbor told me he had also bought from her and received nothing, I looked up the cancelled check. In the memo area I notated "FUNDRAISER." She had altered this to read, "EDNA & AL's BIRTHDAY" prior to depositing the check. How is this company still operating when there are so many ripoff reports?
